Located in the Houston suburb of Webster, Great Wolf Lodge is scheduled to break ground in September 2022. The park cost $200 million to build and is the second largest in Texas. Since walking on concrete at water parks in the Texas summer is excruciating, it benefits Great Wolf Lodge from places like New Braunfels Schlitterbahn and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.
The preview photos look great. The play structures and water slides are huge, reaching at least four stories in the main part of the cave. Visitors can climb, slide and traverse various structures via bridges, rain or shine.
