Pet Friendly Areas In Sheboygan
One of the latest additions to the list of dog-friendly trails: Jurong Lake Park. Since major renovations of the area began in 2019, the park has seen a steady stream of four-legged and two-legged visitors.
The country’s largest national park (covering around 90ha or more than 128 football pitches) is plenty of exercise for both of them, although Fido never seems to run out of energy.
If there’s any extra energy to burn in the fur sack, the park has grazing horses at 22,000 feet where they can roam free. Surrounded by mountains to explore and a host of furry friends, we’ll have a hard time convincing them to leave.
How to get there: The north and south entrances of Jurong Lake Park can be accessed via Yuanqing Road. Take Chinese Garden Road for the former and Japanese Garden Road for the latter. The dog park is closer to the south parking lot.

West Coast Park has sheltered tables and chairs so farmers can find shade while their fur runs free. Trust me – there’s nothing scarier than bringing your pure white dog home in a completely different color (brown) and dealing with the consequences.
The rest of the park is about 5 km long along the coast, perfect for relaxing with friends and enjoying the cool sea breeze.
As well as being a weekend hotspot for cyclists and exercise enthusiasts, this island is also a great place to take a walk with a furry friend.

Although Coney Island Park doesn’t have a specific dog style, there are plenty of trails to walk on. But the forest is your master and the beach is hidden behind the dome! While those with small Chihuahuas and Maltese may find this trail too difficult, larger dogs such as Labradors, German Shepherds and Singaporean Terriers will surely be thrilled at the opportunity to explore the rugged “wilderness” using their innate wolf instincts.
Due to the amount of ground you will be covering, we recommend bringing your own bike or renting one from Jomando Adventures and Recreation near the west entrance to Coney Island. In the back comes a makeshift dog carrier in case the riders’ legs get tired. Don’t forget to bring a towel and a bottle or two, as you will need a lot of water for a long walk in nature!
How to get there: Coney Island is accessible by foot from Punggol Waterway Park. In addition, there is a parking lot at the west entrance.

This 24km walking route covers the entire length of Singapore, but there are several entry and exit points if that seems too ambitious for you and your van.

A little-known gem in the middle of Bukit Panjang, Zhenghua Nature Park feels like stepping into a forest from an Enid Bilton story. The park begins at the Segar Trail, which has a sand play area and open green space for dogs to roam. From there, the road turns directly into the forest.
Arrive early enough in the morning (before sunrise) and you’ll have a stunning view of a misty, mist-shrouded forest bathed in morning sunlight.
Since it’s very busy, you won’t see the big crowds typical of other sidewalks. These dogs are a great choice for concerned parents
