New York City is where immigration to the United States began, and you can learn about it at Ellis Island as part of a tour to see the Statue of Liberty.

Busy, bright lights and endless activity make NYC known as the city that never sleeps. It is home to Time Square, Broadway, Wall Street, Freedom Tower and Central Park, among thousands of other places.

It is truly one of the world’s great cities and ideal to visit all year round.

Be sure to visit the Charleston City Market to sample pralines and purchase baskets and trinkets that will take you back in time. Take a stroll along Rainbow Road and Battery Park.

In recent years, I have often visited Jensen Beach, Florida, which is relatively close to West Palm Beach. Jensen Beach is known for pineapple festivals, delicious seafood, boating, fishing and sea turtle sightings during nesting season.
