We are always nervous about traveling through the Zion National Park area on our Utah trips because Zion is not as “dog friendly” as most national parks. On our last trip we decided to give it a try and stayed at Syon’s friend White Bison. It is located a few kilometers from the entrance to the western garden. This is so that we can drive through our base camp to explore the gardens. There are dog spots everywhere. All I can say is, I’m sure glad we finally decided to go. And although there are not many activities inside the dog park, there are many activities outside.
We stayed at Cliff’s pet friendly lodge at Zion White Bison and we loved it. Modeled after an ancient Anasazi kiwa, our dog-friendly Cliff dwelling has a charming and colorful interior.
