I highly recommend their services. The value and peace of mind you get knowing your pets are being cared for by such a loving and talented pet sitter is priceless. Unfortunately, bringing Fido isn’t always possible, and finding a sitter is essential. Trying to prepare for a baby shower can be a whirlwind, and we humans can forget something. That’s where this guide comes in handy. We’ll go over everything you need to do to prepare your home, dog and sit for your vacation so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

Getting to know your pet properly is very important, especially when dealing with shy or anxious pets. Let the handler bring the treats, but don’t give them to your dog right away. Tell the handler to throw some treats in your dog’s direction and gently call Fido.

Use calm body language to let your dog know that the sitter is safe and that Speedo should feel comfortable with her. You should familiarize yourself with the dog sitter before the appointment, so try to make an appointment a few days in advance. Starting off on the right foot will ease your pet’s anxiety and make your stay more enjoyable.

Study the babysitter before you leave. Tell them where they sleep, where the toilet is, and where they keep paper products and cleaning supplies. Give them access codes and teach them how to use the remote control, the oven, and anything else they might need.

Label your pet’s food and medications, especially if you have multiple pets. This will not only eliminate confusion but also prevent mishandling of medication. In the food bag, put a post-it note with the exact amount of how often your pet eats. Write detailed instructions for medications, including how often to take them with food.

Your child will forget where something is even on a tour of the house. Make it easy for Nanny by leaving things she might need. Choose a high shelf or counter and prepare a basket with cleaning supplies, toilet paper, leashes, and poop bags. This will ensure that they have everything they need in one place, out of Buster’s reach.

Every dog is different, so thorough written and verbal instructions should be given to each pet. Work out your fur baby’s schedule, including regular medications, feedings, and walks. This will avoid confusion and uncertainty for both your pet and their keeper.

In addition to providing identification for your fur baby when it gets loose, ID tags can help you distinguish them from other pets. Make sure the contact information on your pet tags is correct.

Create a list of emergency contact numbers for your singer. Include the owner, vet, neighbors, and various types of contact while you’re away. You never know when an emergency will strike, so it’s best to be prepared just in case.
