Where To Visit On The East Coast – One of the (many) things I love about the United States is how different it can be from country to country. It’s one of those countries where you can jump between countries and places to see a completely different side of the country, and it’s actually a great experience (did someone say road trip?).

Over the years, I’ve been on quite a few road trips across the United States and I relish any opportunity to hop in a car (or train, if your route takes you) to explore the vastness of he is.

The entire coast has an incredibly rich history, charming chocolate box towns to explore, and scenic beauty that always looks different depending on the season you visit.

With that in mind, I wanted to share some of my favorite places that you should consider visiting on your trip to the East Coast.

Some are by the water, while others are a few hours away. Anyway, they are all on the east side, so why all the ‘east coast’, especially when you consider how big the country is.

After our recent 5 day trip, I’m already itching to get back to this area and explore more. Now, it seems that many people think of Fort Lauderdale as the “three” in Miami.

I promise you, it’s not. It has a very unique feel and identity which is amazing if you want a mix of cool time, culture and heaps of amazing natural scenery.

If you’re looking for more of a challenge, there are a bunch of really tough mountain climbs (I’m calling you, Mt. Washington) where you can work up a good sweat and earn your lunch!
