Hunty, a rescued shepherd mix, naturally has a strong bond with his owner. He looked like he couldn’t believe what was happening when he saw that his “mom and dad” had returned.

The owners have TikTok accounts dedicated to their pets, and a video shared on the @huntyyyboi account on July 24 shows their strong bond in action.

They wrote on the clip, from Hunty’s perspective: “It’s 11.30pm and you’ve been woken up by your mum and dad to come home after 11 days of not seeing them.”

The video, which has garnered 94,000 likes, shows the pair greeting Hunty, who has just slept in bed. When they hugged and said hello, he must have looked “shocked” as he looked at them both in disbelief that it was really happening.
It then shows Hunty as a child with his father’s hand, gently licking it as if to check that he is really there. He then wakes up for good, and runs excitedly to his mother.

Dogs, like humans, have the ability to dream because they follow the same sleep cycle, including rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, where the most vivid dreams occur.
Stanley Koren, professor emeritus of psychology at the University of British Columbia, notes that puppies and older dogs do a lot of walking in their sleep.
A part of the brain stem called the pons, which prevents you from acting out your dreams, is underdeveloped in puppies and dysfunctional in older dogs, explains a 2016 article for Korean Live Science. He added that in their research, they found that dogs “dream about things,” such as chasing birds or reacting to strangers.
“Dream patterns in dogs are very similar to dream patterns in humans,” he said.

TikTok users fell in love with the dog, with one commenting “He’s just a kid,” and another declaring, “I would die for him without fail, my life is a dog.”

Another pointed out that his owner “can’t wait for the morning” to pick up Hanty and instead took him late at night, agreeing with the owner: “No, we miss him so much. .

Ursolya Gall’s body was found on April 16 in a hockey bag in Forest Park in the borough of Queens, New York City.
The married mother of two, 51, was stabbed nearly 60 times in her home and her body was dragged half a kilometer and dumped near a popular footpath on Metropolitan Avenue early Saturday morning.
Police followed a trail of blood from the bag that led them half a mile to an upscale community in Forest Hills.
Detectives said he had been in a relationship with Ms Gall for about two years, and they had broken it off shortly before the murder.

He is believed to have met a man later that evening before returning home with $2 million of his family’s money.
Police said she was killed in the basement of the home. A source familiar with the autopsy information said that Ms. Gall suffered about 60 stab wounds to her neck, torso, left arm, fingers and hands.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect believed to be the killer dragging the duffel bag with his body around 4.30am on Saturday.
The bag was found by a dog walker shortly after 8 a.m. on a popular walking path on Metropolitan Avenue in Forest Hills, along a road that bisects a park.

They found Leo alone upstairs in the residence. Neighbors said he was handcuffed and taken away for questioning by police before he was released and cleared of any involvement in the crime.
