The Florida Panhandle is a mystery to dog owners. There are hundreds of kilometers of beaches and dozens of individual places to visit. However, only some of them are actually suitable for dogs. Despite miles of pristine sandy beaches, there are relatively few legitimate dog beaches in the Florida Panhandle, particularly in the western Panhandle. But the good news is that dog-friendly beaches are absolutely beautiful, secluded, rugged and fun. If you want to explore Florida’s forgotten coast with your dog, you’ll need to do some planning in advance. But once you find a great dog beach, there’s nothing better than a day trip with your furry friends.
