Best of all, it is one of the most dog-friendly places. In fact, the owners live nearby and their two dogs walk outside and approach the treehouse to say hello!
There is no Wi-Fi, but there is a grill, toilet, shower and mini-fridge, so I recommend cooking on site and really unplugging. In addition, here the sounds of nature are at a high level. This is especially true for the “Frog Chorus” heard from the beautiful lily pond overlooking the treehouse.

If you really want to go glamping, a yurt like the one shown below is your best option.

The Ranch offers unique Texas Hill Country lodging with 3,232 cabin rentals, air-conditioned tents, RV sites, camping, and even gypsy wagons ($10 off Hipcamp for new users). This property is located in Johnson City, just 1.5 km from Pedernales Falls State Park, making it ideal for those looking to walk and explore the state park during their stay.
My favorite part is the Birdhouse, a small trailer room. However, I only recommend it if you leave it alone (+ dogs). It is so small! However, if you are looking for something bigger, the cabin is a better choice. At the time of writing, dogs are not allowed in the glamping tents.
It’s a good idea to check each location for pet-friendly rooms, as sometimes not all rooms in a property may be available, or policies may change!

Located on Lake Bastrop, GLAT Austin has luxury safari-style tents that sleep three to six people, depending on the tent you choose ($10 discount from Hipcamp for new users). Additionally, each room on the property has several cabins with private hot tubs and other amenities such as fire pits.
Mystic Quarry in Canyon Lake, Texas is a great place to stay if you want to go tubing in the summer! Accommodations range from tiny houses, shacks, glamping tents and cabins to RV sites and tent sites ($10 off at Hipcamp for new users). Relax by the pool, go tubing on the nearby Guadalupe River, attend a concert at the Whitewater Amphitheater, or spend the day at Canyon Lake.
If you filter through pets allowed, you’ll find that there are a variety of dog-friendly glamping options, including safari lodges (my personal favorite), premium lodges, and some cabins.

Why are pet friendly hotels good? First of all, we welcome our four-legged (and sometimes two-legged) friends with open arms! But for many of the hotels on this list, they do more than just let Fido share the pillow at night.
For example, Ocean House in Rhode Island offers very luxurious beds. The Peninsula Hotel in Illinois has its own “pet menu” with options for pups (like a beetroot burger) or kitties (Siamese salmon fillets). New York’s Soho Grand comes with its own dog park (shared with its equally pet-friendly sister hotel, the Roxy).

Allowing two puppies up to 40 pounds per room, Hotel Indigo Orange Beach Gulf Shores, Alabama wants your furry friends to feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. So there are snacks and tennis balls at the front desk. There is also a photo board on the table with Polaroid pictures of domestic guests. (With your permission, they’ll even take your pup!) Perhaps best of all, the hotel is located at one of the entrances to Gulf State Park, which has 26 miles of dog-friendly trails and its own dog park.

The Harbor 360 Hotel in Seward, Alaska is a beautiful place. And not only because the site has free food. Close to the boardwalk and beach, each of these pet-friendly accommodations on the ocean is carpet-free (because we all know accidents happen). And the best part? There are no restrictions on types of pets as long as they weigh under 65 pounds.
If you want to treat your pet like royalty (who doesn’t?), head to a royal hotel like the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. All pets (both dogs and cats are allowed) are provided with plush bedding, food and water bowls and toys.
We will fix it. In addition, the hotel sits on 65 acres of land, so there is plenty of room to work. (Bonus: There’s a PetSmart across the street!)
