Dog Friendly Vacations Pa – On our way to and from the Blogpause conference in Kansas City, we stopped in the quiet, historic town of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. It’s a very dog-friendly little town with a beautiful river running through it. The city is also home to Lock Haven University, a college with less than 4,000 students. The William Klinger Riverwalk is a beautiful paved path that runs 2.25 miles along the river. The river is actually the one that protects Lock Haven from the west branch of the Susquehanna River.
The Riverwalk is a nice long trail that is dog friendly and great for long walks. We love visiting Lock Haven because the Riverwalk gives us and the dogs a great way to get some good exercise and enjoy a stop between long road trips. I will definitely visit this dog friendly town for this beautiful river walk!
