A Guide To Dog-friendly Northern Michigan
Burlington, Vermont is one of the most dog-friendly places in New England. With outdoor adventures and a hip, laid-back downtown, Burlington is a playground for dogs and their friends alike. You will find lots of fun things to do with your kids. Bike the Burlington Greenway along the shores of Lake Champlain, then stop for a local beer at one of the city’s dog-friendly breweries. Burlington beer venues that allow pups on the patio include Foam Brewers and Zero Gravity Craft Brewery, while places like Switchback Brewing Co. Dogs are also allowed in the house. Church Street Marketplace, one of New England’s most popular malls for walkers (and pups), has great restaurants and shops. For pet-friendly accommodations, Made Inn Vermont, a charming inn within walking distance of downtown, offers a comfortable home away from home for you and your dog.

Choose from a variety of dog-friendly activities, from the Sconset Bluff Walk to historic lighthouse tours. There are plenty of dog-friendly patios around town, including breakfast hotspot Black-Eyed Susan and America’s Bistro Queequeg. This dog-friendly town in northeastern Vermont is a must-see. Known as the Ski Capital of the East, Stowe draws visitors from near and far to its world-famous resort every winter. But with plenty of outdoor activities every season, Stowe is the perfect place to relax with your dog.
For serious hikers, Smuggler’s Notch State Park offers miles of trails throughout the Green Mountains.
