We were on a quest to find the best dog beaches in Southern California and surprisingly, our choices were pretty limited. There are lots of off-leash beaches, but we have puppies that really love to run and be free in the water, so off-leash beaches are a must.
We’ve checked out all the off-leash dog beaches in Southern California over the past few months and listed them in order from our favorite to our least favorite.
Huntington Dog Beach was our favorite off-leash dog beach in Southern California and we came here every weekend when we lived nearby. The dog beach area is clearly marked and we had no problem finding a parking spot as we arrived before noon.
