Looking left to right, as you watch the coastline rise and fall from Lyme Harbor to Portland Bill, your eyes are on dry land once roamed by dinosaurs. Ammonite Apartments is located in one of the most sought after areas in Lyme Regis due to the views it has to offer. This lovely 4 person dog friendly accommodation is located above another holiday apartment and offers some of the best views of Urura Beach.
It is no exaggeration to say that ammonite is rare. Not only does the apartment have views of Lyme Bay, but you and your four-legged friend have easy access to all of Lyme’s attractions. The city center with its independent shops, cafes and restaurants is only a 5-minute walk away. Walk another 10 minutes and you’ll find Lyme’s starfish-colored waterfront, home to the world-famous Cobb, popular dog beaches and plenty of activities.
Once inside, the appearance may change, but there is nothing attractive. This dog friendly apartment is new and modern. Light streams into the elegantly furnished rooms through two double-glazed windows and reflects the charcoal, mocha and gold of the soft furnishings and fabrics.
The two bedrooms are beautifully done. The master bedroom has a coastal blue and white double bed. Local artwork hangs on the walls to remind you how close the sea is, and there are wardrobes and drawers to remind you that you can stay longer than the weekend if you want.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is just the right size for small families to curl up in front of a smart TV when the weather turns. At sunrise, open the double doors and let in the sea air and the sounds of the seabirds.
As you would expect from self-catering accommodation, the kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob and oven, integrated fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. There is an iron and roll shower with heated towels to wash off your soapy toes.
