And decided to visit Dublin, Ohio. Dog trips are always friendly, so we invited Levi the dog and his mom Chris.

We started the day in Dublin with a hike to Indian Run Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Dublin. Dexter and I have always been fascinated by water features. I’m so glad that we can easily see the fall. It was a short walk to the bridge and lots of stuff from our car.

Dexter was feeling very nervous so we took the route to the underwater and scenic area. Dexter and Levi both enjoyed walking on the rocks, drinking fresh water, and enjoying the pets of other park guests. Cold water is a great way to escape the hot weather and humidity.

After some great fun outside, we got in the car and drove the two miles to Dublin. Parking is a breeze in a free city. There is plenty of parking and it is convenient to the city and centrally located. We had a lot of fun walking around the town’s shop windows, talking to the locals and taking pictures. Everyone we passed was so nice, friendly and we loved saying hello to Dexter and Levi.

We went to La Chatelain and asked if dogs were allowed on their outdoor terrace. We got the green light. La Chatelain offers fresh salads, soups, sandwiches and fresh appetizers. This French bistro and bakery has a very warm atmosphere and the staff are very cheerful and friendly. The food was amazing! I ordered the classic bistro sandwich with spinach and artichoke. I also had to order a slice of their La Chatelaine chocolate. Oh, it’s so rich and velvety soft. My chocolate.

After lunch we went to Dublin Park. This unique park is located on the river on Bridge St. It’s under the bridge. It offers amazing views with a lovely gazebo for a full lunch or looking out over the river. With the big one

We took the boys around Dublin, finding great statues and learning a lot about the city in the process. Our favorites were the Corn Mill, the Leatherlips monument, the Kiwanis Leaping Frog Statue, the Giant Dancing Rabbit and Splash Pad, the Lookout House, and the Dublin Tunnel Mural.

After a fun but tiring day, it was time to head to our pet friendly hotel in Dublin, Ohio. We stayed close to historic Dublin at the Home2 Suites Dublin. Home2 Suites is not just for Dublin

, but he received us very well. Dogs are allowed to stay with us in the hotel and outside on their two outdoor patios. They also have a large, flaming fire pit in front of the hotel, which makes for a good pot roast.

The modern king one bedroom suite had enough space for four, including a work area and pull out couch. A comfortable sofa is as comfortable as a comfortable bed. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, utensils, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster.

After packing for the night, it’s time to order dinner. Since we were going for the vibe without being from Ohio, we ordered from the Village Tavern. Dublin City The city is Dublin. Since opening in 2000, they have been available to locals and visitors alike. Dublin Village is famous for its Irish-inspired menu, with dishes like Irish Kettle Dinner, Irish Egg Rolls and Irish Sliders.

Chris fills up on their award winning Irish eggs with beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese and serves a side of 1000 Island. He chose the Irish Slider, which is a mix of fresh ground beef and ground beef with Irish cheddar. , Irish rasher and red onions. Work with Irish Country. I’m a burger girl, so I ordered the Guinness BBQ Burger with cheese, bacon and homemade BBQ sauce.

Well, that doesn’t even begin to describe the food. Mouth watering and unique. The Guinness Burger is one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had. They are well cooked and tasty and their sauce is amazing. But I think it would be better to make it a three dessert day, I also ordered three Irish ones. Triple hot chocolate with Guinness whiskey caramel and Baileys whipped cream. Yes. It’s as good as it sounds.

After a delicious meal, you’d think I’d hit the Home2 Suites Spin2 bike for a run on the podium, but instead I crawled into bed to relax in my Serta Suite Dreams® bed and microfiber sheets.

In the morning, dessert started to take a long time, so I decided to be more healthy with breakfast. Fortunately, Home2 Suites offers a Free Table™ with healthy and delicious food. Our last stop is Ha’Penny Bridge Imported from Ireland. This authentic Irish store is located in a historic Dublin building and offers a wide range of authentic Irish and Celtic products. Dexter and Levi were invited because they behaved well and did not interfere. It was great to talk to the owner and find out they are celebrating 35 years in business. The shop has a great selection of jewellery, clothing, gifts, hits, art and Ireland travel information. It was the perfect last time we visited Dublin, Ohio.

We really enjoyed our trip to Dublin, Ohio. Dublin offers many unique attractions, statues, parks, dog friendly restaurants and Irish dogs. We’ve already talked about our next move to Dublin because there are so many things we want to do but we’re running out of time. Dublin is important and must win!
