The UK coastline is full of lovely dog-friendly beaches, cliffside walks and pretty seaside towns; And a visit outside the summer months can be one of the best times to experience it all. By traveling later in the year, you can still enjoy great weather and find space in some popular destinations. Here are our favorite coastal destinations and dog-friendly beach holidays for a relaxing, off-peak getaway with your best friend.

Dog Friendly Attractions And Restaurants

The UK’s mountain and lake destinations are the best dog-friendly holiday destinations. The combination of open space, fresh air and fresh water will give you and your dog a dose of soul-cleansing nature. Here are some of our favorite spots, from the bustling shores of Loch Awe in Scotland to the emerald lochs at the foot of the Brecon Beacons.

When looking for dog walking places in the UK, you need to be prepared for anything from clear blue skies to downpours, often at the same hour. That’s why we love waterfall walks: they’re virtually protected from the elements. If it’s raining, the waterfalls rise spectacularly; if it’s hot, you can take off your shoes and jump into the clear and refreshing pools. Here are five of our favorite dog-friendly hikes that end in rushing waterfalls and cool dives. There are so many reasons to consider furry family members when booking your next stay. Dog holidays in Yorkshire provide a much-needed balance of relaxation and activity for human guests. But canine visitors also benefit from the sights, sounds and, most importantly, new smells to be found in this beautiful corner of England. And it’s a wonderful way to communicate.

For many pet owners, leaving their four-legged friends behind becomes a burden and a serious obstacle to free time. From a practical point of view, this can also be a problem. Good nurseries are usually booked in advance. While family and friends – they themselves want to be able to travel freely after quarantine – may be reluctant to take on sitting responsibilities.

The trend for holidays with dogs has been growing for some time. With around 3.2 million UK households believed to have bought a pet since the start of the pandemic, our reputation as a puppy-loving nation is here to stay. And Yorkshire is a great choice for dogs.
