Lymington came out on top, with 169 trails to explore, 19 restaurants and 57 dog-friendly pubs. The pretty Georgian town, overlooking Hampshire’s south coast, also has 35 vet surgeries available within a 20 mile radius or less.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth comes second on the list with 58 vets available and 45 dog-friendly hotels for tourists. Tynemouth, in North Tyneside, has the highest number of vets within a 20 mile radius, with 71 in total.
