The best dog-friendly option in the Great Smoky Mountains is the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, a six-mile rolling loop where you can enjoy a car ride with your four-legged friend. Enjoy hidden treasures with Fido at the Great Smokies Flea Market, East Tennessee’s most visited flea market. You can get discounts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. You’ll find a variety of food vendors, home decor, furniture, antiques, and more. you can find. Don’t miss the farmers market with seasonal favorites like juices, berries and vegetables!

Enjoy pet-friendly outdoor spaces in Gatlinburg, such as hiking trails, parks, and the famous Skylift. Many of these activities are free, but if you plan to stay longer than 15 minutes, you will need a paid parking card.

Mills Park includes designated, fenced areas for small and large dogs to fully enjoy the outdoors. This area has shade, grass, benches and trash bags. Please note that in other areas of the park, dogs are required to be on a leash at all times.

Pets can accompany their owners up the mountain on the popular Gatlinburg Skylift for stunning mountain views. The lift was originally opened in 1954 and rebuilt in 2017. Visitors can now experience Gatlinburg’s longest-running attraction for four seasons.
