Enjoy wild views of the Texas Hill Country at this dog-friendly campground, located 1.5 miles from Pedernales Falls State Park. People love coming to this area to stargaze, hike, or, if they’re like me, enjoy the local breweries and distilleries nearby. I wouldn’t recommend dog owners visiting this place in the middle of summer due to the lack of air conditioning…but late fall and early winter are wonderful here.

This rustic, dog-friendly Airbnb has a fenced-in yard and a few decks with views of the Texas hills. This is an ideal rental for families who want to bring a dog. There are even a few species of animals grazing on the property. The interior is interesting, of course, not for everyone, but still, looking at the reviews, many people like its beauty.

They have been featured in Bloomberg, Untapped, Good Beer Hunting and were recently among UPROXX’s Top Beer Influencers to Follow on Instagram. One of the most frequently asked questions is whether the glamping sites I visit in Texas allow dogs. ! So I teamed up with my friends at HipCamp to show you some of my favorite pet-friendly glamping spots near Austin. If you’re new to Hipcamp, you can sign up here for $10 for your first stay.

One of my favorite things about Hipcamp is that they have a “pet friendly” filter that you can apply when searching for camping and glamping places on their site or app. This makes finding pet glamping a lot easier.

Is this the best place to camp in a treehouse in Texas? Located near Bastrop in Paige, Texas, the Hobbit’s Nest Treehouse is a true jungle escape. As you might have guessed, the property is Lord of the Rings themed, with lots of small decorative pieces to bring the Shire to life.

After all, it’s one of the most dog-friendly places you’ll find. Indeed, the owners live nearby and their two dogs roam the grounds and come under the tree to say hello.

There’s no Wi-Fi here, but there is a grill, toilet, shower, and small fridge, so I recommend cooking on site and unplugging. Additionally, the sounds of nature are paramount here, including yours.
