Best Dog Friendly Resorts Oregon – There’s something about January that makes me sit down at my calendar and plan my next year’s travel plans. It’s so cold and dark outside, it feels incredibly satisfying to sit down on your laptop and plan some adventures.

Although we had to put our biggest international trip on hold during the pandemic, we’re loving reacquainting ourselves with the Seattle area and all of its wonderful (and dog-friendly!) weekends. After ten years of living in New York and Chicago, it’s been fun to come back and rediscover old vacation favorites, as well as check out all the new glamping sites, boutique hotels, and unique Airbnbs popping up here. More importantly, I’d like to see how many of them have adopted dog-friendly options for your stay. I am happier when Dave and Lizzie are with us on holiday.

Bring your best friend for some wine country magic at one of our personal favorite resorts. We have been spending our weekends at Sageleaf since 2015 and it never disappoints. My New Year’s resolution was to book a stay at the Dream Lodge in St. Edward as soon as possible – should be easy – It’s a half hour drive out of town. This historically significant seminary has been restored to a luxurious and luxurious retreat on 326 acres of land along Lake Washington. I’ve been dreaming of sticking with one of these Insta-famous A-frames for a long time, and I’m determined to make it happen this year. Tye River Cabin Co. proposals Three stunning A-cabins nestle in the heart of the mountain. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and they all accept pets for a fee. A word to the wise — getting a reservation can be difficult, as each of their amazing Insta posts garners thousands of likes. Information about pets is included in every detail of the cabin.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend in Semiahmoo in 2019 and I look forward to returning to the beautiful landscapes and secluded beaches that Lizzie loves to visit. Just a stone’s throw from the Canadian border, this resort is a great base for enjoying the spectacular views and great hiking of Washington’s North Shore. They are very dog ​​friendly, and puppies are welcomed with their own bowls, beds and (at least during our visit) souvenirs. Here are the details about the dog.

Travel back in time with a stay in one of these vintage trailers in Dayton, Oregon. The best part? Located in Willamette Wine Country in the United States. I love a unique escape and Winthrop’s Rolling Huts definitely delivers. These tiny houses were designed by Seattle-based Olson Kundig Architects as a modern alternative to camping. This luxury resort on Hood Canal has been proud to welcome pups since 1913, and with a full menu of Fido-friendly amenities, we can count on it. Make memories by renting a kayak, hiking the trails, or just enjoying those views. Read about dogs here.

Okay, so it’s not technically available yet, but we’ll be sure to sign up for order notifications once this beautiful camper trailer launches in Olympic National Park. They offer comforts to the average non-camper while providing a remote and sustainable way to access nature. I was blown away by the beautiful new Water’s Edge Suites at this historic Orcas Island hotel, which offer private balconies overlooking the bay. I can already see myself wrapped up with the book. If you follow us on Instagram, you know we drive to Seabrook every chance we get. This gorgeous beach town on Washington’s stunning Pacific coast is honestly everything I look for in a vacation—a charming downtown with great shops and restaurants, plenty of rental options, and a sandy, clean beach. Puppies are accepted maximum rentals.

With beautiful views of Lake Washington, The Woodmark offers a quick drive outside of downtown Seattle. Explore the shops and restaurants of downtown Kirkland, swim or relax at the spa. If you’ve never heard of Tentrr, you’re missing out. We stayed with them twice (in Vermont and on a trip to Maine that we blogged about here) and each trip was wonderful. Basically, they build luxury safari tents in amazing private locations, like a beautiful fruit farm near Meade, Washington. You can even choose to pay a little more to have one of their fruit pies delivered to your site, or their farm-fresh eggs for a delicious outdoor scramble. Admittedly, Idaho is a bit far from Seattle, but we will travel any distance to stay in this spectacular view. Plus, the little touches like the sauna and the antique coffee maker melted my heart. Pets are allowed, but you should check if it is fun for your stay, rather than the entrance stairs.
