First, a little background on being new pet parents. A few years ago, when COVID suddenly took over our lives and the first lockdown began, my husband and I joined a community of pet lovers to feed Indie’s dogs on the streets. And that’s how we found a very cute bunch of puppies lost in the park without their mother. They were only a few weeks old and we took turns feeding them. One of them was a strong and playful puppy, which one of our friends immediately named Raja, as is every dog’s favorite name.
Raju grew more evil by the day and soon became the happy but powerful Alpha of the pack. A very smart boy, Raju was half-blind and in a lot of pain – most vets said he should be put down. But two years later, although he can stand and walk a little, he still half-stutters and complains, but runs in a wheelchair he bought for himself. Raju is a bit of a traveler who has been to beaches and jungles and now he is on vacation in the mountains. Her little sister Aishu has always been there through and through and she started staying with us in the last few months and this visit was her first from home.
