Traveling With Pets
When it comes to being dog-friendly, Frankenmuth, Michigan hosts a number of dog-specific events, especially those hosted by the River Place store. If you have a dog that enjoys crowds of people and other dogs, plan your Memorial Day weekend trip and visit the Dog Bowl!
Fair warning: Our dog DOES NOT like the Dog Bowl and we’ve learned that Kirby doesn’t really like other dogs. It wasn’t the best experience for us, so while I still recommend the event, I personally will never take my dog ββto a crowded dog event again. However, you know your dog if your dog has no problem with crowds or other dogs, you will probably be happy.
WINTER: Walk through the beautifully decorated stores, past the lighted Bronner’s display and drive past Halo’s Burgers.
FALL: Dress up your dog for the weekend during the Scarecrow Dog Festival or attend a friendly Oktoberfest!
