Good Dog Kc – The 21 day board and train was the best decision I could have made for my dog. He is a very reactive/aggressive animal and we thought as a reactive person too. I searched the internet looking for a trainer who would and could help us and I didn’t trust anyone but Good Dogs. With the equipment and training they gave us, we were pretty much ready for anything. We feel much safer walking our dog, even living in an apartment building. Jahaira and Andy are so helpful, encouraging and insightful!! They know what they are doing and I am pretty sure they could help anyone if they could help my Palmer.
The ornery one year old lab mix has been running my house for 6 months – and my husband and I are sick of it! So we began our search for dog training options. Luckily, we came across Andy and Jahaira! I can tell right away that they are extremely knowledgeable and confident in their ability to turn our stubborn dog into an obedient one without suppressing his fierce personality. We discussed our family goals to walk the dog in public without dragging and to stop jumping, mouthing and barking. And we decided it was best for our dog to make a board and train for a month to let Andrew and Jahaira learn what makes him tick. When our dog returned home, I was surprised that he heard and followed our commands! Andrew and Jahaira took the time to explain how to fulfill our dog’s need to hunt, our fast daily training, and reviewed a foolproof plan to follow and incorporate into our daily routine. We have followed the recommendations of the trainers and life is much easier! I enjoy my time with my dog and I feel we bond more with him. He is such a good boy! We just need a little help to make sure his needs are met. I no longer fear going to the vet or meeting another dog. I trust Andy and Jahaira with my future dog training needs! They are the best!

We had so much fun with you and Bristol! You were a good student and committed to achieving your goals. When we first met, Bristol was a wild puppy. Your goals are to master leash handling, limit leash reactivity and generally have a better relationship with your dog. She still has her fun loving personality but now you have the ability to guide her to good choices. It was so amazing to see you walk her beautifully on the path around distractions, all your work has paid off and we couldn’t have had a better student ask for
If I had more stars to give. They become part of your family. My boy went to a nut job and they brought him home a new dog. He will be excited when he sees them because they are now his people. So wonderful to work with between registration and keeping me up to date. I’m a helicopter mom and I’ve never been made to feel cared for. Since he’s been home, they’ve been keeping an eye on both of us and making sure we’re on the right track. Vino and I are beyond blessed to have them as part of our lives.

The best! Our wild and unruly dog is now completely obedient without losing his personality. Andy and Jahaira were extremely knowledgeable, responsive and able to teach us how to communicate effectively with our dog. We loved the regular updates on our dog’s progress through her board and train program. They even posted videos on Instagram so we could follow along. We had such a good experience that we now use them for accommodation when we are out of town. 10/10 highly recommended.

I am very happy to give Good Dogz KC a 5 star review. Andrew and Jahaira are working with my 7 year old Cavalier, Gus. I kept having accidents in my house and that was taken care of. Gus now sleeps in his cot at night and when I don’t take him in the car. Andy and Jahaira are very informative and personable. I chose them for the training because Jahaira asked so many informative questions before we even started working together. Try them. You will not be disappointed.

Your search for the best dog training in BC is over! I found Good Dogz kc while looking for a program for our GSD rescue. Good Dogz was very compassionate about our struggles and good at giving suggestions. They are extremely easy to work with when it comes to booking, paying, and building a plan that works for your family. We are now weeks away from an amazing board and train program. I cannot recommend them more highly! Andy and Jahaira take such a balanced approach to training dogs (and, perhaps more importantly, training people). We brought our Goldendoodle puppy home just 6 months before the baby, and it’s easy for him to develop bad habits. When he was almost 4 years old, we sent him for 3 weeks boarding and training with Good Dogz KC. The difference was when he came home night and day, and with us consistently using the techniques we were taught, we continued to see improvement week after week. They helped us to understand our dog – what is most exciting for him, what kind of game he likes, and how to train him on new concepts. The ongoing support is amazing too!
