We have just returned from a holiday at Eurocamp in Paris with our golden retriever and I think they enjoyed visiting the Eiffel Tower as much as we did! Dog Friendly Hotels, Resorts, Apartments With Water Park In Europe

Eurocamp offers many dog-friendly accommodation options, usually Classic and Comfort types and selected cabins and tents.

After choosing your Eurocamp, contact the Eurocamp team and add your dog. Please note that dogs in Eurocamp’s dog-friendly campsites must be on a lead and under control at all times. Parcs may ask you to bring vaccination records.

More information on how to take your dog from the UK to France can be found here, but I would like to say that the reception team were fantastic in helping us arrange a deworming vet before returning to the UK when we visited Paris recently, so it’s also worth asking at reception when you arrive.

La Croix du Vieux Pont is a large Eurocamp with 623 pitches located just over an hour and a half from the center of Paris and Disneyland® Paris.

Eurocamping Calvisio, Finale Ligure, Savona

This campsite offers dog-friendly accommodation and offers many attractions for families, including four swimming pools (all-weather retractable roof) and water slides There is also a lagoon on the beach and many attractions for families.

The campsite is large and there is enough space for walking the dogs. Vic-sur-Aisne is the nearest town. There is a bus service to Paris and Disneyland® Resort Paris that allowed us to go further (this was arranged in advance by the bus company).

Atlantic Club Montalivet is a large campsite with 842 pitches located on the Atlantic coast. This family- and child-friendly campsite is a great beachside campsite with swimming pools and wellness facilities.

There are plenty of food and drink options, including an ice cream shop, bars, a snack bar and a restaurant. The nearest port is Saint-Malo and the nearest town is Montalivet. This campsite has direct access to the beach.

Dogs are allowed at this campsite in selected accommodation units, but dogs must be on a lead at all times in the campsite.

Atlantic Club Montalivet runs its own children’s clubs, which you can enjoy throughout your holiday, but Eurocamp has no influence on the clubs or their organization, including the quality of the features available.

Saint Avait Loisirs is a medium sized campsite with 320 pitches and we loved it here. This campsite is in the heart of the country and offers plenty to do for families (we included it in our list of the best family-friendly campsites in France). There are six indoor pools and plenty of water slides. There are also many other attractions including tennis, trampoline, football, basketball and bocce.

Another lively campground with about 434 campsites. We stayed here before the pandemic and were impressed with the camp and the surroundings. There are many places of interest near the nearest town of Saint-Jean-de-Monts.

The camp itself is dog and family friendly. It has a beautiful pool complex with heated outdoor pools, a lazy river, three water slides, a water park and an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi.

One thing is worth paying attention to – the camp is divided into two parts by the road. Some of our accommodations are located in a part of the building across the street from the main facilities.

The beach is just a short walk from the hotel and can be reached on foot (there are epic sunsets here too). The nearest airport is Nantes and the nearest port is St Malo.

Camping La Baume

We visited Le Pin Parasol in Vendée just before the pandemic and loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. We are very much looking forward to returning this summer.

Le Pin Parasol is located in the forest on the shore of the lake and is a large campsite with 512 pitches.

There is plenty to see and do with a swimming pool, water slide, tennis courts and the shores of Lac du Jaunay, making it an ideal spot for fishing or pedalo hire.

For us, the pool center, bars and restaurants were amazing and that was our incentive to come back this year.

Château de Galaure is a medium-sized campsite with approximately 476 pitches. There is an excellent pool complex with three traditional pools, a lagoon pool surrounded by a sandy beach and four water slides. There are plenty of attractions for families including tennis, football, archery, volleyball, bocce and playgrounds. Here you will also find a kids’ club available for children from 4 to 12 years old.

The camp is dog-friendly and has designated areas where you can bring your furry friend.

There is plenty for families to see and do, including a large pool complex with waterslides, horse riding, an adventure trail, tennis, basketball, football and bike hire. The hotel also has a fitness center that offers a wide range of beauty treatments.

There is a wonderful water park with a new slide, a children’s pool and a solarium. There are many attractions available, such as mini golf, volleyball, table tennis and bowling, as well as forest trails.

The nearest towns are Biscarrosse (5.8 km). The camp has its own children’s club, which is open to children aged 4-6 and 7-10 during their stay.

If you are looking for a nice beach, you can visit La Pierre Verte. This Eurocamp has its own sandy beach and lagoon pool.

The campsite has a large pool complex with several pools, including a children’s pool with a toddler slide, splash pad and small buckets. There are also several slides and a terrace with deckchairs where you can relax and watch the children play.

Camping La Baie is a small campsite with 205 pitches, a good swimming pool and a kids’ club.

The nearest beach is Plage de Plouescat (about 0.26 km). There is a great on-site kids club for 4-10 year olds to enjoy while you are there.
